I understand that this competency training is a requirement to maintain my active delegation status. There will a combination of training for New staff, New tasks ordered for your client and Annual competency review.

Steps for new staff getting Delegated:
1) Have all required credentials (DOH license and Nurse delegation certificate)
2) Complete online competency courses for the house/s you work at - after task courses are done schedule your skills lab appointment by clicking the link in course "register for skills lab"
3) Come into skills lab to demonstrate all skills on mannequin -- Basic houses will get delegated while at skills lab.
4) Complex houses require in house demonstration as well (tube feedings, trach care, straight catheters)
